Sussex is a historic county located in the southeast of England. The region is divided into two administrative counties, East Sussex and West Sussex, which are home to a number of towns and cities.
Both East and West Sussex are known for their beautiful countryside, which includes, for example, the South Downs National Park, or Seven Sisters White Cliffs. The region is also home to a number of historic sites, including the 1066 Battle of Hastings site or Arundel Castle. Besides countryside, Sussex offers a variety of historical and vibrant cities. Between those are for example Brighton & Hove, Lewes, Eastbourne, Chichester, Hastings and many more!

During this tour, we’ll take you on a journey through time, exploring the fascinating history of this iconic city. From its humble beginnings as a small fishing village, to its heyday as a fashionable seaside resort, and its emergence as a center for alternative culture, Brighton has a story to tell that’s unlike any other. We’ll visit some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Royal Pavilion, a stunning example of Regency architecture, with an interior that features elaborate Chinese and Indian-inspired decor. We’ll also explore the Brighton seafront, the city’s very own landmark which hides the history of its own.
But that’s not all – we’ll also take you off the beaten path, to discover some of the lesser-known corners of Brighton’s history, point out the historic and the oldest pubs, hear tales of smugglers or protestants during Bloody Mary’s reign, and explore the city’s vibrant street art scene of contemporary days!
