How is it to work on cruise ship with 6-star ultra-luxury service?
Work on a cruise ship
To work on cruise ship can sound scary or adventurous. I spent 1 year travelling on board of a beautiful 6-stars ultra-luxury cruise line working as a Chef de Rang and I’d love to share my story with you. How was this experience sailing to the most prominent places around Mediterranean Sea, crossing the ocean and spending another 4 months sailing around Antarctica, Ushuaia, Falklands and South Gerogia?
This travel talk will include not only authentic photos from the destinations, but mostly the stories, struggles and benefits, and behind-the-scenes of how it is to be a seafarer working on such a special cruise line.
Let’s share what’s like to work on cruise ship. I will reveal :
- What it’s like to serve high-profile guests, and navigate the demands of 6-star hospitality while being happy on board
- Stories from some of the most incredible places we sailed to — from hidden gems to iconic destinations
- How we all challenged the struggles of unpredictable seas
- Unexpected joys, challenges, and unique lifestyle of working on a ship that defines luxury
- How to work on cruise ship, but still enjoy the destinations and save money at the same time
