How was our Workaway adventure on a Mexican farm?
My partner and I spent two months travelling in Mexico and being part on two different volunteer projects with Workaway – a wonderful eco-farm in Guadalajara and a sustainable eco-project in Veracruz.
In this talk, I’ll take you through my journey of living and working on a beautiful Mexican farm, where I learned firsthand what it means to travel with purpose. From connecting with the local culture to working in harmony with nature, I’ll share stories, insights, and personal reflections on what made this experience so life-changing.
HIGHLIGHTS
From learning about different edible plants and vegetables, harvesting and treatment processes, through looking after and accompanying different animals, all the way to experiencing amazing fun working with a cosmopolitan group of volunteers from different countries all over the world!
I’ll share moments of laughs, sharing, moments from a farm and our group travels, as we had such a beautiful time and built new friendships. I’ll share how superb is to start travelling with Workaway!

All the talks are suitable for national and international schools, colleges, Universities, libraries, public events, corporate events etc. Each talk is designed to inform, inspire, entertain audiences, share original experiences, see the world from a different perspective
The talk takes about 60 – 90 minutes, but it is possible to adjust its length according to your needs
Technical requirements: equipment for presentation of digital photos and videos, microphone for bigger audiences
